Posted : 3/15/2011 Comments : Our black lab, Cassie, was a rescue, and had previously had a horrible case of heartworms, due to neglect by her owner. We adopted her, and she had a cough, an odor and just wasn't feeling well at all. Thanks to the great doctors at LLAC, they took xrays and gave her 2 types of medicine. We took her back in 2 weeks, and she was like a pup again. She's had numerous complications due to the heartworms, and as Katie the office manager says " its alot cheaper to use a preventive for heartworms, then to treat heartworms." We are thankful for the staff at LLAC. Posted By :
